Why compete with the trees & nature?

By building vertical houses, can we co-exist with trees and nature more easily?

This test pilot scheme shows 4 x 3 storey dwellings on 2,000 sqm (which includes half of the communal nature strip at the rear).

Interesting points:-

  • If a tree falls, it won't fall on top of the house

  • With a reduced building footprint, there is more space for gardens and trees

  • staggered setbacks

  • winding streets give variability to front nature strips, and variable setbacks

  • rear nature strips include communal recreational facilities

Let's start a conversation, plan some new directions.
